JESA established its Annual Student Scholastic Bursary Program in November 2006. The goal of this program is to recognize students of Jamaican heritage who have achieved academic excellence and demonstrated active community volunteering and participation.
Funding is derived from local businesses, corporations, individuals and JESA’s fundraising activities. Presentation will be made at our annual fundraising banquet on Saturday, November 1st, 2025.

JESA Toronto once again extends an invitation to our Family and Friends to join us in celebrating our 33rd Annual Fundraising Banquet and Bursary Awards.
We look forward to seeing you all for an evening of pleasantries.

With your support, we empower students, honor our veterans, and strengthen our community.
For over 30 years, the Jamaica Ex-Soldiers Association (Toronto Chapter) has been committed to uplifting veterans, empowering youth, and strengthening our community. Together, we turn compassion into action.
We provide scholarships and bursaries to students of Jamaican heritage, helping them pursue higher education and achieve their dreams.
We extend assistance to ex-soldiers in need, including support for the Curphey Home in Jamaica, ensuring dignity, care, and community for those who served.
Through annual events, youth sponsorship, and cultural initiatives, we bring people together, celebrate our heritage, and create lasting bonds across generations.
