About JESA Toronto
Serving community, supporting futures, and continuing a legacy of care at home and abroad.
Who We Are
The Jamaica Ex-Soldiers Association (Toronto Chapter)
A non-profit, non-partisan organization committed to supporting communities both in Canada and Jamaica.
Since our establishment in 1992, we have worked to uplift lives through education, community support, and charitable initiatives.
Our membership includes serving and former members of the Jamaica Defence Force, along with relatives, friends, and supporters who share a common commitment to service and community impact.
Through our collective efforts, we continue to build meaningful connections while honouring a legacy rooted in discipline, service, and compassion.

About Our Journey
Founded in Ontario in 1992, JESA was created to provide a platform for service members and the wider community to come together in support of meaningful causes. Over the years, the organization has grown into a trusted and active presence within the Jamaican diaspora.
Through regular meetings, events, and initiatives, JESA continues to strengthen its role as a connector, bringing people together to plan, support, and respond to the community’s needs both locally and abroad.
Guided by a strong sense of purpose, JESA has remained committed to improving lives through education, outreach, and community partnerships.
From supporting institutions such as the Curphey Home in Jamaica to assisting individuals and families in need, our work reflects a long-standing dedication to service that continues to evolve with the needs of our community.
